While majority of humanity suffer from the many detrimental impacts of water shortage, still many take water for granted – especially market-driven multi-lateral institutions that implement projects that are insensitive to the needs and safety of people and communities.

Our challenge is to rouse the broadest number of individuals, organizations and institutions and dare them to take action.

In pursuance of our commitment to monitor IFI-funded water projects in Asia and to support and promote various water-related struggles, the APRN and the Water for the People Network are once again inviting your organization to submit articles for the second issue of the IFI Water Watch Alerts.

We welcome submissions on any of the following water sub-sectors:

  1. Irrigation
  2. Hydro-electric Power
  3. Sanitation and Health
  4. Water Resource Management

Send in your 4-5 page articles in MS-Word format along with a short author/organization’s profile and contact details to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

We look forward to your valuable contributions.

In solidarity,

Maria Theresa Lauron
